Name: Criana Rioja
Vintage: 2004
Category: Red Wines
Country: Spain
Grapes: Tempranillo and Garnacha
Rating: 5/10
Review:
This Spanish Rioja has raspberry aroma and a light soft taste with a rather dry and oak finish, felt like a wine to be serve with red meat.
The flavour is medium and it had aged well, can't really compare to it's rivals, but for the price it's selling at it's a nice chaser.
Here's another other wine selected by Tesco, fairly cheap and doesn't taste bad either, I have tasted one of this brand before, a non vintage Rioja and it was not good at all.
Tasted the wine? Why not give us your star opinion.

How much does it cost then? I'm always a bit stumped when I'm trying to buy good wine. Being a student kind of destroys your taste buds, after you get used to £3-a-bottle parties, it's hard to go back!
Just go into Rioja about 3 years ago. Would like to find this one for comparison. Looked for it last weekend with no luck.
This one is a common one only in Tesco for around £4, maybe ran out of stock now.
The Vina Mara you can get from a leading superstore for just under £6. It is a very good bottle of Rioja for the price.
I thought it was only available in Tesco, anyway currently for £6 I would recommend the Marques De Calatrava 2001, also at £6.
The Vina Mara 2003 for <£9 per bottle at Tesco is my favorite wine to date!
