Wine Review:
This Argentine Bonarda is very soft on the nose, with a strong berry fragrant, the colour is a good deep red with little legs, The texture is smooth yet spicy, it's medium bodied for sure and also smooth but not a lasting finish.
I wasn't expecting miracle from a young Argentine red wine, but this is a good wine for stand-alone drink or serve with pasta and white meat, it's certainly a wine I will buy again if limited choices are available, or for convenience as it's on sale at Iceland.
The 2009 vintage one is probably on sale now at Iceland, I had a taste on both and made no difference on my wine review of the 2008 vintage wine. If you haven't tried this yet, then pop down to your local Iceland, it's worth the try for a mere £4 to £5, and it's probably the best wine on the wine shelve at Iceland.
Tasted the wine? Why not give us your opinion.
